Zoya Akhtar Wishes Gauri Khan A Happy Birthday With A Gripping Picture Of A Lioness And Her Cub
Gauri Khan turned 51 today, and her industry friends rallied to the social media to wish her.
Gauri Khan's friends have rallied around her in the wake of her son, Aryan Khan's arrest in a Mumbai cruise drug bust case. Her birthday fell today, and her friends and well-wishers took to social media to wish her and show support in these trying times. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s wish particularly caught our attention, as it practically proves - A picture is worth a thousand words. Taking to Instagram stories, Zoya posted a monochrome picture of a lioness with her cub, and captioned it, “Happy Birthday Gauri. May you stay strong, stay brave, stay you.”

Zoya shared the compelling yet robust picture in the wake of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s eldest son Aryan Khan’s arrest. The star kid’s bail plea meanwhile has been rejected today, October 8, and he will remain in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail.
Gauri Khan received wishes from many celebrities and her industry friends. She received a shout-out from director Farah Khan, who wrote, "Happy birthday to the strongest mother and woman I have personally witnessed this past week."
Farah and the Khans are close friends as well as long-time collaborators - three of the four films directed by Farah have starred Shah Rukh Khan.
