Who’s who from the music industry attended the musical night
organized by Team Sarbjit to pay tribute to the late Sarabjit Singh Atwal. The film is a biopic on his life and the people in his family.
While Randeep Hooda plays the title character in the film, it is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who plays the role of his sister Dalbir Kaur in the film. Richa Chadda plays Sarabjit's wife in the film, while Darshan Kumaar plays the lawyer from Pakistan.
The whole cast wasn't able to make it to the evening because of other commitments, and therefore only Randeep and producer Jackky Bhagnani were able to attend. Ash skipped the event because of her trip to the Cannes Film Festival.
Famous musicians like Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Amaal Malik, Sukhwinder Singh and many others attended the event. Sonu, who just had had a knee surgery also came down to pay his tribute to Sarabjit.
The film is set to release on May 20.
