SRK Hopes Deepika's Luck Will Rub Off On Dilwale

Shah Rukh Khan has always considered Deepika Padukone as his lucky charm.
The three movies they have done together -- Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year -- have all been blockbusters. But now that their movies -- SRK's Dilwale and Dippy's Bajirao Mastani -- are all set for a box-office clash on December 18, who will emerge luckier?
"I can say that I would want Deepika's lucky charm to work in my favour on December 18. But on a serious note, Bajirao Mastani is also a big film and has a lot of friends. From the directors to the producers, a lot of people are friends on that film's set. I definitely want that film to work well at the box office. Having said that, Rohit Shetty, Varun Dhawan, Varun Sharma, Kriti Sanon, Kajol and loads of others have worked hard on my film Dilwale as well. So, I would want this film as well to do good at the theatres," said SRK during his 50th birthday celebrations.
The superstar also listed past examples of multiple films faring well during festive season. "Lagaan and Gadar released around the same time, and both did great at the box-office. I personally believe that this festive season has enough space for two films to make good profits," he concluded.
