VIDEO: Mukesh Bhatt: Ae Dil Hai Mushkil's Boycott Will Only Cause Loss To Indians, NOT Pakistanis
Mukesh Bhatt, the President of the Producer's Guild, came out in support of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil last evening. In a press conference, he opens up about the film's fate, Pakistani actors in Bollywood, the governments role in it and how he is talking to the Police Commissioner for a smooth release of the movie.

"I have been speaking to the Police Commissioner and the police has assured us that they will give 100 percent security to cinema halls wherever necessary. They will stand by us and help maintain the law and order. I hope the film has a smooth release," said Bhatt.

Talking about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil's release he added, "The movie will release this Diwali worldwide. I think it is very unfortunate what some filmmakers have fallen into unknowingly. The shoot of their films are complete and now if some political party wants people to boycott this film, then it is a loss only for fellow Indians. There are about 150 Indian technicians who have worked on the film. If the movie doesn't get a fair release, it will directly affect them, and not anyone else."

So does that mean he is okay with Pakistani actors working in Bollywood? "My humble request to everyone is to not disrupt the release of movies that have already been shot. Further more we shall abide by and follow any dictate that comes from the government related to the matter," confirmed Mukesh.

Mukesh Bhatt even appealed to the media to help promote the message of peace between the two nations.
