Ananya Panday On Taking Fashion Cues From Papa Chunky Panday, ‘I Follow His Mantra, Wear What You Like’

Anaya Panday tasted stardom way too early with Karan Johar’s debut film, Student Of The Year 2, opposite another debutante Tara Sutaria and Tiger Shroff and then with Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar led Pati, Patni Aur Woh. The actress, who’s already enjoying the humongous fan following of 8.3 million followers, is often seen taking fashion to top-notch with her fashion and style game. During a recent interview with TOI, when she was asked about her fashion Inspos, she said, “I’ve learnt from my father that if you are pleased with what you are wearing, everyone around you will also be happy with it. My father is an experimental guy when it comes to prints and colours. He tries out different things and pulls everything off very well. Meanwhile, the Pati, Patni Aur Woh actress was recently in news for her stance on nepotism when she was asked in Rajeev Masand’s 2019’s round table conference. Making a statement, Panday had said that, “I’m not going to shy away from that I’m Chunky Pandey’s daughter. Just because my Dad is an actor I’m not gonna say no to a film. My Dad never did a Dharma film, my Dad never went on Koffee with Karan. It isn’t as easy people say it is. Everyone has their own journey.”
She’s currently shooting for Maqbool Khan’s Khaali Peeli, backed by Ali Abbas Zafar, co-starring Ishaan Khatter.
