BEST DRESSED & WORST DRESSED At Lux Golden Rose Awards, 2017: Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Mouni Roy, Deepika Padukone Or Alia Bhatt?
Bollywood divas were on cloud nine as they conquered the red carpet at Lux Golden Rose Awards, 2017. Like every year, we do a post-mortem of this fashionable event to know who were the masters and defaulters.
Awards season has
kick-started and it's time our Bollywood celebs get going to ace up their
fashion game.
Last night, the celebrities took over the Lux Golden Rose red carpet. Over all, the style
quotient of the event was high yet there were a few who slipped on the vogue
road.
Among our top
B-Town ladies, the one who got all my attention was Katrina Kaif. Gorgeous in a
simple and elegant gown by Reem Acra, Katrina’s look was effortless. But there
is someone who was crying loud for attention and that is the lady who defines
fashion- Deepika Padukone. However, yesterday was not her day.
Although it’s
very difficult to carry what Dippy wore to an event and look confident, which
she did, but again this Monisha Jaising gown was way toooooo much of gold for
my eye. While Deepika took the ‘Golden’ word of Golden Rose Awards too
seriously, Alia Bhatt also overdid with the red rose theme. She wore a Teuta Matoshi Duriqi outfit which defined rose from all angles- quite literally! Add some
more red with those matching lips. Mouni Roy kept it quite sexy in a shimmery
royal blue slim fit gown. Her contrasting chocolate brown wavy tresses
complemented the actress’ look perfectly.
Another Bollywood
diva who absolutely rolled like a queen on the red carpet was Kareena
Kapoor. She wore a halter ruffled gown by Rami Al Ali Official in the
shade of ivory and pink. Mrs Khan also embedded some floral accessories on
her bun, which made her look just so adorable.
Besides these
divas, there were a host of other B-Townies too who walked the ramp. So, let’s
