We're back with Part 2 of our Best Dressed and Worst Dressed Bollywood actresses of 2019 list. Let's take a look at these beauties' fashion report
Yesterday, we brought to you Part 1 of our list of Best Dressed and Worst Dressed Bollywood actresses of 2019 and now, here is Part 2 of the list. Today we will cover B-Town hotties like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sonam Kapoor, Kriti Sanaon, Kiara Advani and Alia Bhatt's style statement through the year that was.
PRIYANKA CHOPRA JONAS- WORST DRESSED
Priyanka Chopra Jonas was on and off in India this year, courtesy her film, The Sky Is Pink. She made a few appearances during the shoot of the film and a lot of them while promoting it later in the year. Her international appearances included that of MET Gala 2019, Cannes Film Festival 2019, the wedding of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner.
Priyanka sported a lot of variety in her numerous appearances but unfortunately most of them did not impress me. There were some looks which landed in the red zone too. Her style game during the promotion of The Sky Is Pink was very average. Though, some of her international looks did win hearts, but again, they were far and few.
Mouni Roy was a pleasant surprise this year with her style game. The Gold actress nailed her looks, most of the times. Although I did feel that Mouni is seeking heavy inspiration from Deepika Padukone in a few of them, but still, the lady did a fare job at it.
Kriti Sanon had an average year with her films. And just like that, her fashion game was also average. Now, it wasn't that disappointing that I'd give her the Worst Dressed tag, let's just say the lady entered the Best Dressed list by a minute margin.
KIARA ADVANI- BEST DRESSED
Kiara Advani was a surprise package of 2019. The actress not only impressed with her acting skills, but also kept the fashion quotient high. Kiara experimented with her looks- she sported sexy, she sported ethnic, she donned sporty and casual too. Overall, the year belonged to Kabir Singh's bandi.
ALIA BHATT- BEST DRESSED
Alia Bhatt is not really known for dressing-up. The actress is usually spotted in her casual tees and tracks or a simple slip-on dress. But this year, Alia made sure to turn heads with her various looks. Bhatt was a stunner in most of them and landed in Fashion Police's good books.
SONAM KAPOOR- WORST DRESSED
Sonam Kapoor is Bollywood's undisputed fashionista and I can't agree more. She sets trends, she makes a statement with every look she dons. However, this year, I felt Sonam pushed the envelope a little too far, a lot of times. Some experiments worked, some failed. Overall, Sonam's fashion game did not flatter me much.
