Cannes Film Festival, Throwback PICS: A Look Through Deepika Padukone's Journey From 2010 To 2019
At this time of the year, actresses like Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan start having their first sittings with designers, styling them for Cannes Film Festival, which takes place in the month of May. Unfortunately, this year, the event has been called off due to the outbreak of pandemic, COVID-19.

Since we won't have any pictures coming from the Cannes this time round, why not revisit some old ones. We bring you Deepika Padukone's journey at the film festival from the year 2010, till 2019.

2010:
Deepika Padukone made her debut at Cannes in 2010, and wore a Rohit Bal saree in white and gold. She had tied her hair in a bun and worn gold long earrings along.

2017:
Deepika then took a break from Cannes for a few years and reappeared in the year 2017. She made two red carpet appearances, which received mixed responses. The actress wore gowns by Brandon Maxwell and Marchesa for the do.

2018:
In 2018, Deepika tried to go wacky in a shocking pink dramatic number by Ashi studio. Even her poses were quite loud. Another look had the actress dressed in a serene white Zuhair Murad number.

2019:
Last year, the actress upped her quirky quotient even further and donned a vintage look. She was seen in a neon green ruffled number by Giambattista Valli Official. Her second look was a mix of classy and sassy. She had worn a white gown with a big black bow by Dundas World.

We will miss seeing Deepika slay it on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. Hope to see fireworks from our B-Town divas in 2021.
