Deepika Padukone was beauty in blue, last night, at the premiere night of her home production, Chhapaak. The actress was draped in a shimmery blue sequenced saree by Sabyasachi. She paired a strappy blouse along and looked nothing less than a diva.

The moment her pictures made way to the Internet, Kangana Ranaut's Cannes 2019 look flashed in my mind. The Manikarnika actress had worn a black all-shimmer saree by Sabyasachi to Cannes Film Festival.
While Deepika's look was more sultry and sexy, Kangana had opted for a vintage route. The puffed hairdo and pearl choker looked absolutely smashing but for me, Deepika's look stood out more, probably because of the striking colour.
Meanwhile, looks like the trend of donning all shimmer is in fashion as Disha Patani had worn an emerald green all-shimmer turtle neck dress to Malang's trailer launch.
