SpotboyE.com introduces a new fashion show – A VIDEO CHAT wherein we will be interviewing a host of celebrities and delve deeper into their style statements which also comprises of their fitness regime. Our first guest for this special bonanza is Taapsee Pannu.
We divide the show into 3 segments. We began by knowing her fashion statement. Taapsee revealed that she likes keeping it simple and real and only aims to look good for herself first, before everyone else! SEE VIDEO BELOW.
Next came confessions around her fashion faux pas moments and we think it was quite brave on the actress’ part to be upfront about it, as not every celeb is comfortable accepting their fashion flaws. Taapsee further delved deeper into how her outfits during film promotions are dominated by the theme of the film she is promoting at that given point of time. Said the actress, “Me and my stylist have a proper research and discussion on what will be the theme of a particular film. When Soorma released, I made sure that I wear only athleisure, when Mulk released I made sure I only wear strong Indian stuff with a black bindi and then came Manmarziyaan which was more boho with heavy accessories. Then, in Badla, it was more of formal and semi-formal look with big frames. And then, there was Game Over which was more about high-street fashion, playing with scarves and all. Now, it’s going to be Mission Mangal where you will see me wearing different types of saree drapes.” Interesting!
Then, we decided to know her take on red carpets and the actress stated that they shouldn’t be highly governed by gowns alone. When we asked if she ever aims to walk the Cannes red carpet like her contemporaries Priyanka Chopra or Deepika Padukone, Taapsee replied that she doesn’t aim per se to walk the Cannes red carpet but if given a chance, she would obviously enjoy it.
We then decided to move on to an important and oft-discussed issue, trolls! Taapsee stated that she stopped reading them long back. “Regardless of what you wear, there will be a comment made because you’re a female, that’s enough,” was her take. This brought us to our next question: Any message for the fashion police? With a slight smile on her face, Taapsee replied, “Please continue whatever you do because I will anyways wear what I want to wear. So, I don’t really care.”
Now, it was time for the second segment wherein we played a fun game with Taapsee in which we showed her few of her looks and asked if she wants to change anything about them. And finally, we moved on to know how she keeps herself fit and agile. Taapsee spilled the secret behind her fab and fit body.
