Black is one such colour in our wardrobes that never goes wrong, only if picked in the correct pattern. Black and sheer is a solid combination which has emerged as a winner for many ladies who swear by fashion. However, not for these two hot and happening mommies of the tinsel town. We are talking about Bollywood’s ace actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and one of the most stylish singers Kanika Kapoor, who opted for this deadly combination but didn’t really score well.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan hosted a birthday party of their son Taimur Ali Khan in 2019, as he turned three. That’s when Bebo was seen in short black sheer dress. Going till her knees this black sheer button down dress with ruffles on the hemline had polka dots in white, comprising of full balloon sleeves, with a scarf belt around her waist. Keeping it casual and easy breezy, she styled it with a wrist watch, pair of stud earrings and white sneakers.

Before we get to our verdict on Kareena’s dress, let’s decode Kanika Kapoor’s look too. The singing diva also wore a sheer black dress for Kaykasshan Patel’s birthday hosted by Manish Malhotra, ending just above her knees. She accessorized it aptly with statement bracelets, and pair of transparent slip on heels.

So now coming to our verdict we feel Kareena Kapoor Khan’s look in sheer black dress, was definitely comfy, but was not a perfect fit for the party.
