Stage was set and Bollywood divas had to dazzle to add ump factor on their latest outings. Getting us talking this time around were not their tonned pin revealed by those thigh high slit dresses or cleavage show with those dangerously low necklines, it were their ‘Sleeves’. Huh! You read it right. There unusual and statement creating sleeves of their outfits. Getting us thinking are divas Malaika Arora, Anushka Sharma and Sara Ali Khan, who let their sleeves be the centre of attraction.
Malaika Arora Khan slipped into creation by designers Amit Aggarwal and Maneka Harisinghani. Bright fluorescent green neon dress having puffed up ruffled sleeves, calling for attention. With her sleeves just ending above the elbows, it also helped the actress show off her hands to certain extent. Followed by pleats like details around the waist, flowing down towards the ankle, she let her outfit do the talking. She chose not to break the uniformity of this dress, and thus opted for pumps also in the same colour tone.
Next in the row is Anushka Sharma. Gracing the red carpet of beauty awards held in town, she showed up in a golden and black dress. She too had sleeves of her outfit having the ott element. The dramatic cut of her sleeves giving a canopy like structure over her shoulders. Keeping it real was her make up too matching the colour scheme of her dress, making her look WOW!
Lastly Sara Ali Khan too is joining the league. The Love Aaj Kal actress walked the ramp at the recently held Lakme Fashion week 2020 for ace designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. She wore their maroon heavily embroidered lehenga with embellished blouse having ruffled sleeves. Carrying this outfit will sheer ease and elegance, her sleeves became the talking point among the viewers.
So according to you who rocked the ruffled sleeves outfit better among these three?
