It's that time of year when Hollywood is abuzz with Oscar
fever and now Bollywood too has caught on thanks to Deepika Padukone and
Priyanka Chopra's presence at pre-Oscar events.

Priyanka, who confirmed her Oscar appearance with a cute
selfie with none other than Mick Jagger, has been attending pre-Oscar parties.
And while Deepika might not attend the actual awards show (as she told us a few
days ago), nothing is stopping her for slaying it at pre-Oscar parties.
But which of these ladies came out on top fashion-wise?

At the pre-Oscar dinner hosted by Chanel and Charles Finch,
Deepika and Priyanka chose very different looks.

Deepika's Duro Olowu dress had all the colours of the rainbow. I get why she wore this. You see, Holi is right around the corner and Deepika might have been missing home. Or, you know, maybe not.
Her dress was uber feminine and perfect for a pre-Oscar event.

Deepika did not shy away from using MORE pops of colour when it came to her accessories. She wore multi-coloured sandals by Louboutin and even carried a bright red clutch.

However, to balance out all that colour, she kept her hair and make-up super simple with basic blowdried hair and almost nude make-up.

At the same event, Priyanka went for an edgier look in Chanel. She wore a pencil skirt with a woollen top and draped a black jacket over her shoulders oh-so-casually. She completed the look with strappy sandals.

Priyanka added spunk to the ensemble with smokey eyes and braided hair with black and white accents.
I absolutely love this look on her. I like how she mixed and matched the two different textures of her top and skirt and then went sexy yet playful with her hair and make-up. This round goes to Priyanka.

But nothing was stopping the ladies from hanging out with each other at the dinner. Here they are seen with French producer Melita Toscan du Plantier.
For two other pre-Oscar dos, Deepika and Priyanka chose black.

Deepika attended the Women in Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party in a stunning dress by Roland Mouret which she wore with ankle strap sandals.

Here again, Deepika kept her hair and make-up simple. Hmm... maybe she needed a bright lip or an updo to add that extra funk to the dress.

Priyanka attended the WME pre-Oscar party also wearing
black. Sadly, there are no better photos but from these images it's clear that
Priyanka looked super sexy and she had a great time too.
