Sonam Kapoor Channels ‘90s Madhuri Dixit And Sridevi In This Summer-Perfect Outfit
Sonam Kapoor’s look for the FICCI Flo event held recently was very reminiscent of the beauties of yesteryears. The white outfit teamed with polka dot, red lip and that flick of hair had us falling hard for the trend from the past!
Have you noticed the flux of ‘vintage’ that has taken over Bollywood this season? From the denim on denim trend to the plaid dresses making a comeback this summer, we have been bombarded by some of our favourites from the past. And while Sonam Kapoor has been on the forefront of this trend, throwing some major vintage vibes all through this season via her Instagram, her recent look has us having flashbacks, Bollywood style!
Rhea Kapoor’s recent styling project with Sonam, had the latter channeling the girl-next door innocent frock vibes, courtesy the early ‘90s styles of Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi amongst others! While Sonam’s experimental fashion is usually a little too forward for us, we’re totally living for this look!
The white skirt and shirt combination outfit from Dice Kayak from their Resort ‘19 collection with the polka dot tie-up belt was made of vintage dreams! And it was all beautifully brought together with the choice of makeup, keeping it simple and sticking to classic Bollywood with the bold red lip, eyeliner defined eyes and that side flick, we just cannot get enough of! And props to her for the Manolo Blahniks polka dotted flats, that kept with the vibe.
Also, you possibly cannot ignore the silver hoop and that scarf in the hair moment. Although the trend is still a little too vintage for us, we’re sure Sonam will walk right back into our lives and change that notion soon!
