‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’ FIRST Poster Released? Fans Spot New Teaser-Poster For Jason Momoa's DC Film At Cinemacon-REPORTS
Warner Bros. Discovery has finally showcased the first teaser post for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom at CinemaCon this week. The upcoming film is one of the most long-awaited sequel to the 2018 film that will see the return of Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry.

Jason Momoa’s upcoming sequel is the last DC Studios release of the year, and it's now the only project in the company’s slate to have not begun marketing. Meanwhile, not much information is known about the last DCU movie of the year and the final one before James Gunn’s third instalment of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

Industry insiders claim that they’ve heard Aquaman 2 could “potentially [be] one of the worst DCEU movies.”

The first teaser poster for Jason Momoa’s upcoming film, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, has been spotted on the floor at CinemaCon ahead of the Las Vegas convention’s official start on Monday, April 24.

An eagle-eyed Twitter user @Alfiemoviehub, fans can take a peek at the new poster—which is about as exciting as a cracked iceberg can be.

The tease is reported to actually resemble some concept art revealed by James Wan last year, which teased a terrifying monster hidden behind an iceberg.

The buzz is that Jason Momoa will be taking on a new role in James Gunn’s upcoming DCU reboot, a choice fueled by the alleged abysmal quality of his Aquaman sequel.

The cracked iceberg is reportedly a connection to the previous concept art which is likely no coincidence. It is also probably connected to a wider environmental message the movie is trying to tell.

Previously, Momoa confirmed that the film’s conflict involves something bad about to happen to this Earth, “and it’s not because of aliens.” It seems global warming, and the changing climate conditions will factor heavily into whatever Arthur Curry will be dealing with in his sequel, as reported by The Direct.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will release on December 20.
