5 Bollywood actresses we want to see in a Tom Cruise film

Tom Cruise turns 54 today. As Bollywood stars bridge the distance with Hollywood with every passing day, here’s our wish list of B-town actresses we’d love to see with Cruise – in a Hollywood or a Bollywood project.

Priyanka Chopra

Imagine the Quantico star with Cruise! The duo has got it all – stunning looks, acting skills and tremendous screen presence. Given the right script, these talented stars can create magic on screen.

Deepika Padukone

The leggy actress missed her chance of working with Cruise in The Mummy (Tom Cruise will not dream about Deepika Padukone, June 30). But there’s always a next time.

Anushka Sharma

Anushka has proven her acting capabilities and if she does try going the international route, who better than Tom Cruise to pair up with? Wouldn’t Anushka and Cruise be perfect for an urban, mature love story?

Katrina Kaif

Bollywood had its own adaptation of Cruise’s Knight And Day. Katrina Kaif played the role essayed by Cameron Diaz in the original. We loved Kat playing the goofy girl who romances Hrithik Roshan in the film. Wouldn’t fans just go bonkers if she actually shared screen space with Cruise?

Kajol

Not many know this, but if things had gone as per Aditya Chopra’s plans, Cruise and Kajol would have romanced each other in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Yes, Cruise was Adi’s first choice for Raj – the role that was eventually played by Shah Rukh Khan! Much like the Yash Raj Films head honcho, even we think Kajol and the Mission Impossible star would make an interesting jodi. Are the filmmakers reading this?
