Adele accepted her marriage to Simon Konecki while thanking him during the 59th Annual Grammy Awards acceptance speech. The singer has been separated to husband Konecki since April this year and the couple has finally decided to part ways legally. According to a report in People magazine, Adele filed for the divorce proceeding papers at a court in Los Angeles. The report then confirmed the news from the singer’s side about Adele and husband Konecki’s separation. The couple also mentioned that they are devoted to raising their son together with all the love and care he needs and asked for privacy in particular, as always. As there will be no comment further from Adele’s side or that of Simon Konecki, the couple have taken the legal step after five months from their separation.
As the singer is popular for keeping her personal life in private, Adele confirmed her marital status in public in March 2017 during a concert in Brisbane, by revealing to the audience that she is married now. According to the Sunday Times Rich List, Adele is the 19th richest musician in the world of the year 2019.
