Beyonce’s open letter after Sterling and Castile shootings: Stop Killing Us
Following the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, Beyonce Knowles has released a hard-hitting statement about police brutality on the African American community. The statement can be read on her official website. It reads:
 

 
The statement has links through which people can connect with their Congressmen and voice their protest against the killings.
 
The world was shaken by the deaths of Sterling and Castile. The video of Sterling being pinned down and shot dead by police officers outside a local convenience store has shocked the world. The controversy has raged further since the video found its way online. The cops involved in the shootout were wearing body cameras and have been placed on administrative leave. 
 
Beyonce has earlier spoken out in support of racial equality through her rap anthem, Formation, where she called all Black women to unite. Her husband, Jay Z, also announced that his music service will donate $1.5 million to the Black Lives Matter cause.
