On Wednesday night, the latest edition of the popular reality show – Big Brother 21 – finally declared its winner after a season filled with drama, fights and controversies. Jackson Michie, who was competing with his ladylove Holly Allen at the finale, emerged victorious in a 6-3 jury vote. Nicole Anthony, who was evicted earlier in the show itself, bagged the third position. Before Wednesday’s grand finale, Michie had also defeated the other two finalists in part 1 of the three-part final Head of Household competition of the season, which helped him move directly on to its third part on finale night.
24-year-old Jackson Michie defeated has won a whopping $500,000 by a vote of 6-3 from Matthews, Talavera, Maccarone, Murphy, Bracco and Hogg. His showmance Allen, on the other hand, took home $50,000 as the second-place finisher with votes from Dunn, Milagros, and Anthony. Other than winning the Big Brother 21 trophy, Jackson has also found love in the house, and the couple is determined to make their relationship work.
Here’s what Jackson had posted on his Instagram post-winning Big Brother 21:
In an interview with ET, Holly opened up on her relationship with the winner and co-contestant Jackson Michie. "Before anything romantically happened between Michie and I, we established that we're going to be friends forever. I don't know where life is going to take us after here… we are going to take everything one day at a time. But regardless of whether things happen romantically outside of here or not, we're going to be friends forever, that much we know," she said.
Well, huge congratulations to Jackson Michie!
