American singer Billie Eilish continues with her winning streak, after bagging awards at Grammy Awards 2020, the singer received Best International Female Artiste award at Brit Awards 2020. American singer and song writer Billie Eilish is just riding high in the year 2020. After stealing the show at the Grammy Awards 2020, grabbing awards in the categories including- Album of the year, song of the year, record of the year and best new artist, she continues with her winning streak with Brit Awards 2020, held at London 02 arena. Billie bagged the Best International Female Artiste award, experiencing the feeling of being excited and numb; she broke into tears, as she accepted the trophy. 

According to reports in Dailymail.co.uk, the singer was awarded by Spice Girl Mel C.  She was reported to have performed on the classic James Bond theme titled, No Time To Die Live for the first ever time. As she went up on the stage to receive the award, she had planned several things, but fizzled out at the last minute. She confessed of going blank and shared of hatred towards her on the social networking site, affecting her in most negative manner.

She was heard saying, “I wanted to say something that I was thinking like two seconds ago… I've felt very hated recently. And when I was on the stage and I saw you guys smiling at me, it genuinely made me want to cry, and I want to cry right now, so thank you.”


In conversation with BBC Breakfast, she spoke about being trolled on the social networking site. Hence, in order to curtail any negative side-effects of it, she mentioned of not reading comment any more, helping her be at peace.

She was quoted saying, “I stopped like two days ago. I've stopped reading comments fully. It was ruining my life. It's weird. The cooler the things you get to do, the more people hate you.”
