After approximately a one-month break, Saturday Night Live has finally returned with some new content in their stay-at-home series. In the second SNL at home, none other than Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt features as Dr. Anthony Fauci leaving fans thrilled and excited. Hosting the episode playing the role of the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Brad diagnoses US President Donald Trump’s announcements on the science of COVID-19 and goes on to thank all the frontline medical staff and others in the fight against the virus.

The video begins with a note that reads, “And now, a message from one of the lead members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force Dr. Anthony Fauci.” With Brad Pitt hosting the show, the Oscar-winning actor greets everyone ‘Good evening’ and introduces himself as Dr. Anthony Fauci and tries to explain what the President of the United States of America was trying to say about the deadly virus. Reacting to the claim made by US President Donald Trump that a virus for Coronavirus would be developed relatively soon, Brad as Fauci says, “Relatively soon is an interesting phrase. Relative to the entire history of earth, sure, the vaccine is going to come real fast."

Moving on, as the video goes on, Brad Pitt addresses Trump’s claim that the virus would disappear like a miracle. Reacting to it, Pitt aka Fauci says, “Miracles shouldn't be a plan A." Later, in a video where the US President claims that disinfectant knocks out the virus in a minute, Brad Pitt aka Dr. Anthony Fauci’s jaw just drops in shock. Finally, at the end of the video, Brad as Fauci concludes that he has heard a rumour about the US President wanting to fire him. Reacting to it, Pitt aka Fauci says, “So yeah, I'm getting fired.”


Meanwhile, as Brad Pitt plays his role as Dr. Anthony Fauci, looking at the Oscar-winning actor playing himself, there’s no doubt the doctor will be thrilled. On CNNLive, Dr. Anthony Fauci had jokingly revealed he wanted the OUATIH star to play him on Saturday Night Live.
