Statement 1- Speaking about her divorce to Brad Pitt in 2019, Angelina Jolie told Harper’s Bazaar ow the last four years in her relationship with her ex-husband have been physically, emotionally, and mentally disturbing for her six children and herself. The Maleficent: Mistress of Evil actress made a statement that her body has been through a lot over the past decade, particularly the last four years and said that she has both visible and invisible scars to show for it.
Statement 2- Talking about how things went down the drain and the messy divorce, Brad Pitt spoke about his destructive drinking habits to GQ Style. The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star shared that as he has a winery and enjoyed wine a lot, he just ran it to the ground. Pitt shared how he was a professional and as good as he could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka.
Statement 3- Angelina Jolie also told Harper’s Bazaar how she has taken some time to find her old self again. The actress said, “The part of us that is free, wild, open, curious can get shut down by life. By pain or by harm,” hinting towards the agony of her life and relationship.
Statement 4- During divorce with Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt told GQ Style how he decided to avoid all substance abuse. The Ad Astra star shared how he is happy to stop everything apart from boozing when he started his family. The actor shared about him boozing too much and mentioned that it’s just become a problem.

In October, in an interview with People’s magazine, Angelina said how she was having a tough time as she was coming off a few years of difficulty and was not feeling very strong about it. In conversation with Anthony Hopkins during Interview magazine, Brad Pitt shared how he hadn’t cried in like 20 years, but did, when he was moved by his kids, moved by friends, and moved by the news. The Ad Astra star said, "I hadn't cried in, like, 20 years, and now I find myself, at this latter stage, much more moved -- moved by my kids, moved by friends, moved by the news. Just moved. I think it's a good sign. I don't know where it's going, but I think it's a good sign." After divorce with Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt also had a strained relationship with son Maddox.
Statement 7- Angelina Jolie said in her interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine how she would like to stay abroad but due to her children and ex-husband Brad Pitt she cannot. Angelina stated the reason to be that as she is having to base with where Brad Pitt chooses to live, she has no scope of moving abroad. Angelina said, "I would love to live abroad and will do so as soon as my children are 18," and shared that she will move abroad surely when her kids are 18.
