Brad Pitt On His Temperament Issues And Struggling With Alcohol: ‘I Lose It At Times, I’m Human’

It has been three years since the Brad Pitt – Angelina separation, but the former is still struggling with its after-effects. In fact, the actor said that, to date, he is blamed for all the mess. Now, in a conversation with his Legends of the Fall co-star, Anthony Hopkins, for a magazine interview, the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood opened up on his anger issues and addiction to alcohol, which had allegedly resulted in a brawl with his son Maddox during a flight, and that was among of the reasons that made Angelina Jolie take the separation route. Elaborating further about his struggle with alcohol, Brad said, “I just saw (alcohol) as a disservice to myself, as an escape. So you’re embracing all your mistakes. You’re saying, ‘Let’s be our foibles, our embarrassment. There’s beauty in that.’ I’m seeing that these days. I think we’re living in a time where we’re extremely judgmental and quick to treat people as disposable.” As per a report in the New York Times, the actor had spent one and a half year of his life at Alcoholics Anonymous post his divorce from ex-wife Angelia Jolie.
Reportedly, after hid feud with Maddox, Brad Pitt was also investigated for child abuse, which he eventually got rid of. Further, Brad agreed that he has anger issues. “But I lose it at times. I get sucked into something, and I can lose it. I take my hands off the wheel. I’m human.” Brad’s son Maddox, in a recently surfaced video, was asked about his relationship by a man that said, “Is your relationship with him sort of over?” to which he responded saying, “Well, whatever happens, happens.”
