Brad Pitt Reveals He Hadn’t Cried In 20 Years; ‘Now I Find Myself Much More Moved By My Kids, Friends’

He has been making news lately for his unsettled divorce with Angelina Jolie as well as being spotted with Arrested Development star Alia Shawkat. Brad Pitt, in a conversation with his former Legends of the Fall costar Anthony Hopkins, published by Interview magazine, opened up about his personal life. In the candid interaction, he opened up about alcohol addiction to being a ‘non-crier’, to now being more moved and more emotional than he used to.
During the conversation, Hopkins mentions that he cries at just about everything because everything moves him. He then asks Brad if he cries often too, to which Brad replies saying that he is a ‘non-crier’. He revealed he hadn’t cried in 20 years and now he is much more emotional. He said, “Now I find myself, at this later stage, much more moved—moved by my kids, moved by friends, moved by the news. Just moved.” He called it a good sign. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have six kids together namely Maddox, Shiloh, Vivienne, Knox, Pax and Zahara. Anthony Hopkins also asked Brad Pitt about his struggle with alcohol. He asked, “I've read you had a struggle with booze and all that.” Brad Pitt replies that he just saw it as a ‘disservice’ to himself and an ‘escape’. He also mentions that it was necessary ‘to some degree’.
