Eminent Hollywood celebrities Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones were esteemed speakers at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2019 held in Delhi. The event took place on December 6 and December 7, with the theme being ‘conversations for a better tomorrow’. The event saw Catherine Zeta-Jones along with Michael Douglas in conversation with Bollywood star Anil Kapoor. At the event, while in conversation with Kapoor, the actress revealed how she would love to see Douglas run for the candidacy of the American President.
In conversation with Anil Kapoor at the Leadership Summit, Kapoor spoke highly of Michael Douglas and his role in the 1995 Hollywood film ‘The American President’. While speaking with Kapoor at the Summit, Douglas shared his experience while shooting the film. Meanwhile, as wife Catherine was present at the event, the actress shared how she loved her husband’s role in the film and would love to see him run for the American President. The 1995 film ‘The American President’ was a drama romance and featured Michael Douglas playing the role of the President of America. The film released on November 17, 1995, and was directed by Rob Reiner. Michael Douglas also received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor- Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his role in the film.
Meanwhile, at the summit, Catherine Zeta-Jones also expressed how deeply in love she is with Shah Rukh Khan’s song Om Shanti Om. The actress also took a moment to shake a leg with Anil Kapoor at the event.
