Chris Hemsworth Stopped Eating Meat For His Kissing Scene With ‘Thor: Love and Thunder' Co-Star Natalie Portman

We all know Chris Hemsworth is truly a gentleman! And the Thor: Love and Thunder star has once again proved the same.
The Aussie actor ditched meat before shooting his kissing scene with Natalie Portman, who is known to follow a vegan diet, in the recently released superhero film 'Thor: Love and Thunder'.
The Black Swan fame turned vegetarian when she was just nine years old and has been vegan for more than 10 years now. In a recent interaction on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, she revealed that she didn’t request that Hemsworth avoid meat before their kiss, but he just took it upon himself because he's a very nice person.
"The day we had a kiss scene, he didn't eat meat that morning because I'm vegan.
“And he eats meat like every half hour. Like, that was so thoughtful. That's not something I'm angry about or care about, but he was just being thoughtful. He's just a very nice person."
Chris’ sweet gesture came as a surprise to fellow Thor: Love and Thunder star Tessa Thompson, who maintained: "I didn't even know he could go without eating meat. He's [usually] just, like, eating bison in the morning. That's so sweet."
Earlier, Hemsworth, in an interview, admitted feeling in ‘awe’ of Portman’s presence and talent on set. When asked his first reaction to see Portman in costume The Mighty Thor, he told Variety: "A little stab to the ego, but I quickly got over it and I was in awe of everything she had done one and off the screen. I'm such a fan.”
