Shoots of international projects including Robert Pattinson’s The Batman and actor Dwayne Johnson’s digital venture Red Notice for Netflix, have come to a halt. Both the projects have announced to take a break for the next two weeks thanks to COVID-19 rapidly spreading across the world

Coronavirus has put the entire world under major threat. While the United States’ president Donald Trump declared it as a national emergency, many countries have reached on the verge to get locked down. COVID-19 has affected all the industries across the world, one of them being the entertainment business. Many national and international film shoots have come to a halt to prevent the cast and crew from this rapidly spreading virus. Two of the latest projects which have come to a halt are star Dwayne Johnson and Robert Pattinson’s upcoming ventures.

Robert Pattinson’s The Batman which stars the actor in the iconic role of Bruce Wayne has come to a standstill for the next two weeks, in order to take precautionary measures against COVID-19. As per reports in Deadline Friday, “Warner Bros. Pictures feature production of The Batman will be on a two-week hiatus starting today. The studio will continue to monitor the situation closely.” The filming of this superhero flick had begun in the month of January, in London, with the crew moving to its next location, Liverpool as per reports in Hollywood Reporter.

Star Dwayne Johnson also announced his digital venture titled Red Notice for Netflix the platform, taking a break for the next two weeks. He posted a video on his Instagram account, where he is seen announcing this to his crew about the shooting of this project being postponed for the next two weeks in order to take care of their families to protect them against COVID-19.

With actor Tom Hanks and along with his wife, Rita Wilson being tested positive, the filming for his upcoming movie Elvis Presley too came to a standstill.
