Currently, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic taking lives across the world, the medical staff on the frontlines has been making hard efforts to save people. As many celebrities have been trying their best to help in these crucial times to raise funds, Harry Potter star and dad-to-be, Rupert Grint surprised a midwife and thanked her for her work on the frontlines. During the One World: Together at Home special in the U.K, Rupert thanked the midwife after hearing her story on the live video call.
Recently, Hollywood actor Rupert Grint appeared in a live video chat with Harry Potter co-star Miriam Margolyes during the One World: Together at Home special in the U.K. In the video chat, Rupert went on to show his appreciation for Sam Halliwell, a 33-years-old midwife. Grint made the midwife day during the virtual chat when he surprised her in the live video call. The Harry Potter star then went on to thank Sam Halliwell working on the frontlines during the health crisis at the Birmingham Women’s Hospital in England for her contribution.
According to reports in Metro, Rupert Grint told Halliwell how hearing her story is just insane and said, “Hearing your story is just insane.” The Harry Potter actor went on to thank Sam Halliwell for her Gryffindor behaviour and mentioned how her sacrifices are truly inspiring. He said, “The sacrifices that you make is truly inspiring. It’s very Gryffindor behavior. Thank you so much.”
Meanwhile, the midwife has been currently in self-isolating herself at a hotel during the pandemic in order to not infect her husband at home. On the other hand, talking about Rupert Grint, the actor is currently expecting his first child with girlfriend Georgia Groome.
