Even though Señorita singers Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes started dating recently, they fell in love for each other back in 2015. That’s right. The two who are now considered to be one of the beloved couples in Hollywood, had feelings for each other since 2015 when the duo was shooting for I Know What You Did Last Summer. During the shoot, they really started bonding with each other before getting into a proper relationship.
During an interview with Rolling stone, Cabello talked about her feelings for Mendes where she felt ‘more of a friend.’ She was quoted saying, “During I Know What You Did Last Summer, I really bonded with him as more than a friend. I think he did, too, but we were both really young, and he was experiencing the pressures of his career.” She also revealed that when they had feelings for each other, it was an awkward thing for Camila. She said, "I don't think we knew what to do with those feelings. It was this awkward thing where we both liked each other, but we weren't together. It was just weird."

She was further quoted saying, “Our paths just didn't cross in that way romantically until we started hanging out again and writing. For me, it just brought it back." And this is how we got the hit romantic track Señorita which was released in June 2019. She not only talked about her feelings for Mendes but the Havana singer also told the magazine that he makes her feel like home.
Earlier, rumours were rife stating the Shawn and Camila are heading for splitsville, though the duo rubbished the rumours by sharing a passionate kiss, but now we know their love for each other is pretty real because during her interview she also revealed that she ‘really really loves him a lot. How sweet!
