Dennis McKinley Accepts Cheating On Porsha Williams As Her Pregnancy Affected Their Sex Life

The Real Housewives of Atlanta episode that aired on December 15 was a shocking one, as Dennis McKinley revealed his reasons for cheating on his fiancée Porsha Williams. The reports of Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley came out in June. While they are both now re-engaged, they hit a rough patch in June because of Dennis’ cheating scandal that came up shortly after Dennis and Porsha welcomed their daughter Pilar Jhena in March. The episode of Dennis revealing his reasons for cheating was filmed during the split and aired just now.
Dennis McKinley blamed his affair on Porsha’s postpartum depression, and ‘sex during pregnancy’, saying that it is not something a man wants to do. While talking to Porsha’s therapist, Dr. Sherry, he revealed, “We had a rough pregnancy, all the way from start to finish. Sex during pregnancy, it’s nothing that a man wants to do. And after PJ got here, postpartum was very real. We cried together, like, every night. That’s not a good enough ‘why,’ but that’s the ‘why.’” He further said his cheating was a mistake and that it was a selfish decision. He said he was apologetic and that the priority for him is their baby.
This left viewers stunned and they could not believe what they were hearing. Several people reacted to it. One of the viewers wrote, “Dennis McKinley said he cheated on Porsha whilst she was pregnant because 1) sex wasn’t the same and 2) dealing with her postpartum depression. Wow is all I can say.”
Porsha Williams herself was very shocked by Dennis McKinley and his reasons for cheating. She said that is they are going to be together for their daughter, they are going to have to start working on it. She added, “If you’re going to live how you want to live because that’s just what your loins want, we can move on with our co-parent life. But if you are really trying to make a commitment over here, that’s what I want to know from your heart.”
