Benedict Cumberbatch-starrer Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is one of the most loved Marvel Cinematic Universe films and it hit the cinemas on May 6 in India. Well, MCU fans thronged theatres to watch the film, which enjoyed a great opening.

Some failed to make it to the theatres to experience the epic saga, now fans have a chance to enjoy the epic saga in all its might as the latest addition to the MCU film will now release on the OTT platform.

To note, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will premiere on June 22 on Disney+ Hotstar.

The film received good reviews from the critics and the Marvel film earned Rs 50-crore in just two days of its release at the box office in India. Not only did the film pave the path for future Marvel superheroes but also introduced new worlds with different actors of the same names.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness sees the return of Benedict Cumberbatch as he reprises his role as Dr. Stephen Strange. This time the Sorcerer Supreme will be joined by Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff, who has finally transformed into the Scarlet Witch during the WandaVision finale.

“In the film, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before,” reads the synopsis. “Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.”

The film is directed by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man trilogy) from a script written by Emmy-winning scribe Michael Waldron (Loki). It is executive produced by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
