Music sensation Drake, was booed for making a surprise appearance at a recent concert. The singer was put in a tight spot, as the audiences were expecting Frank Ocean in a surprise package and not Drake. The disappointment continued on social media too.

Ouch! Would be our reaction to what happened to one of the most popular music artist, Drake, on the stage of a music concert on November 9, 2019. The singing sensation made a surprise entry on the stage recently at Tyler, The Creator’s 8th Annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, but was terribly booed and put in an awkward spot by the audience. Event held in LA, had the audience expecting Frank Ocean on the stage as a surprise, but with Drake being on the stage came as a sheer disappointment for the fans.

According to BillBoard.com, Drake, in fact, left the stage 20 mins earlier than his actual stage time. Along with Drake being booed right at the venue, few social media users also took to their accounts to boo the artist furthermore, expressing their disappointment in their posts as well. Tweets such as “f*** Drake. We want Frank Ocean,” “We’re out here expecting Frank Ocean and Tyler rlly brought out DRAKE……………..the f****** audacity,” and many more came pouring in on the social media platforms. With booing comments, also came some messages in favour of Drake from Ocean’s fans who slammed the audience for booing Drake.

So far Drake has not commented on this unpleasant encounter. This was not the first instance singer Drake was put in a tight spot by the audience at a music concert. 


In 2009 the singer while performing during a concert had a mighty fall from the stage, followed by which he was rushed to seek medical attention.
