Popular host Ellen DeGeneres is not experiencing the best phase of her life right now. As if the controversy surrounding her chat show wasn't enough, the host was recently tested positive for COVID-19. Well, adding to her stress are the ongoing rumours in regards to her relationship with Portia de Rossi. As per a report in New Idea, Ellen and Portia's love saga has hit a rough patch, so much so, that the former has now started venting out all her professional frustration at Portia, leaving their house to turn into a war zone. But is any of it true? Gossip Cop is here to clear the air.
As per the so claimed source, "Portia's getting the worst of it. Nothing she does is right. They've not agreed on any big decisions all year, including Portia being offered her own online cooking show and Ellen refusing. Now it looks like Ellen's show's done and she's planning three new shows and completely keeping [Portia] in the dark. She doesn't know what's going on with the old show, the new shows, the house, not a thing — and especially not what's going on in Ellen's head. She's aged 10 years this year. She's really taken a beating over all those 'mean' stories, and the huge backlash online has completely hit her hard."
First things first, as per Gossip Cop, the rumours of DeGeneres nixing de Rossi's non-existent cooking show are completely fake, as Ellen herself has promoted Portia's cooking skills on her social media. Secondly, both Ellen and her partner are planning a new show together so there's no plan of separating, as of now.
Sharing the news of her COVID-19 diagnosis, Ellen took to Twitter and wrote, "Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I'm feeling fine right now. Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified and I am following proper CDC guidelines. I'll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay healthy and safe."
