The first trailer for Enola Holmes, the Millie Bobby Brown starrer that centers on Sherlock Holmes’ brilliant teen sister, has just released. Netflix unveiled the trailer for Enola Holmes on Tuesday. The crime comedy film is based on the book ‘Enola Holmes Mysteries’ by Nancy Springer. The Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown plays the titular role of Enola, who turns into a detective after her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) goes suddenly missing on Enola’s sixteenth birthday.

Set in 1884 England, Enola Holmes’ story also involves her two older brothers Sherlock Holmes- played by Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin). The trailer begins by informing fans of an interesting detail behind Enola’s name- that it is the reverse of ‘alone’. However, Enola escapes and sets out to find her mother.

Apart from Millie Bobby Brown,  Helena Bonham Carter and Henry Cavill, the film also stars Sam Claflin,  Adeel Akhtar, Fiona Shaw, Frances de la Tour, Louise Partridge and Susie Wokoma.
