On the contrary, we will be talking about how Brad Pitt, reportedly, skipped the recently-held BAFTA Awards to meet his dear son Maddox Jolie Pitt, whom he shares with estranged wife, Angelina Jolie. As per The Sun, the Fight Club actor gave a miss to the much-awaited award ceremony at the last moment, citing ‘family obligation’ as the reason behind. Well, Brad’s absence was surely felt, but his Once Upon A Time In Hollywood co-star Margot Robbie took the initiative of receiving the Best Supporting Actor honour on Brad’s behalf. A source close to the actor told to The Sun, “Maddox gave Brad the chance to talk and he dropped everything.” Reportedly, Brad even cancelled his flight to London the very minute he came to know that Maddox was willing to meet him and talk. Well, if true, it is indeed special for Brad, whose relation with Maddox had hit a rough patch after he was accused of being ‘physically abusive’ amid their private plane journey. This was also among one of the main reasons behind Brad and Angelina’s split.
The FBI, however, cleared Brad of all the allegations, but it didn’t go any good Brad and Maddox’s equation. “Being a father is the most important thing in [Brad’s] life and he would do anything to repair their relationship,” added the insider. No doubt, Brad dropped everything and rushed to meet his son, guess, the daddy wants to start afresh.
