George Floyd’s death at the hands of a white police officer in the USA has sparked protests and outrage on social media. Glee star Lia Michele also took to her social media to tweet in support of the late George Floyd. George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter," Michele wrote. What followed was her Glee co-star Samantha Ware calling her out for hypocrisy, and instead described how Lea made her life a living hell on the show. After these accusations, meal-kit company HelloFresh also ended their partnership with Lea.

Lea Michele’s Glee co-star Samantha Ware tweeted, “LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISON GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD 'SH*T IN MY WIG!' AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD..." After Samantha’s tweet calling her out, many others also replied and shared about Lea’s behavior with them. Daybreak actress Jeanté Godlock wrote, “did somebody say cockroaches? because that's what she used to refer to the background as on the set of glee. but we grow up and we don't stay background forever sooooo..."

Dabier, who appeared in one of the Glee apisodes also wrote, “GIRL YOU WOULDNT LET ME SIT AT THE TABLE WITH THE OTHER CAST MEMBERS CAUSE 'I DIDNT BELONG THERE' F--- YOU LEA."




Meanwhile, HelloFresh ended their partnership with Lea and shared a post on Twitter that read, “HelloFresh does not condone racism nor discrimination of any kind. We are disheartened and disappointed to learn of the recent claims concerning Lea Michele.
