Gwyneth Paltrow played the role of Pepper Potts in the Iron Man and Avengers franchises, and she is portrayed as the assistant and later the romantic interest of Tony Stark aka Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr. Pepper Potts has appeared in several MCU films- Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Spider-Man: Homecoming (cameo), Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. While fans love Gwyneth and Robert’s on-screen chemistry, the former recently admitted that kissing Robert on-screen was like kissing her brother.

Gwyneth Paltrow was joined by Kate Hudson on her Goop podcast on Tuesday, and they talked about their worst on-screen kissing experiences. They both looked back at their on-screen kissing experiences, not all of which were great. While speaking about her experience kissing co-star Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson said, “The thing is, every time I kiss McConaughey, it's like, I mean, it's like there's just something happening and there's like snot or wind, or things are just... like when we were kissing in the end of Fool's Gold, we're like in the ocean, we like had the plane crash. He just had snot all over his face.”

Gwyneth asked Kate if McConaughey gave her ‘brother energy’; after which Gwyneth recalled what it was like kissing Robert Downey Jr in the Iron Man and Avengers franchises.
