Ever since One Direction made it big in the music world, fans have been crazy about singer Harry Styles. After the band members parted ways, Styles and others have been releasing songs independently and winning hearts. As Harry Styles has managed to kill it in his latest released music video Watermelon Sugar, sharing some information during the filming of video, a model reveals the singer is ‘consent King’. During a live chat session, model Ephrata revealed that Harry Styles asked for her consent even before touching her hair.

During an Instagram live chat with fellow model Aalany McMahan, Watermelon Sugar model Ephrata spoke about Harry Styles on sets. Ephrata revealed that Harry was a ‘consent king’ on the sets of Watermelon Sugar music video. Talking about the positive experiences while working with Harry Styles on the Watermelon Sugar music video, Ephrata said he sought permission for everything. She went on to share that people were telling Styles to touch her hair and play with it, but he went on to ask her first before doing so.

Ephrata said, “The people were telling him to touch my hair and play with it and he was like, 'Wait, wait, wait, pause — can I even touch your hair? Is that even okay?'" The model added, "And I was like, 'Yeah, that's so nice. That was really sweet.'" When Ephrata shared some on-sets details during the live, McMahan agreed to the fact that Harry was sweet and said, "He was very huge on the consent." Talking about Styles further, Ephrata said, "Consent king!" While Ephrata shared her experience with the singer, the model also mentioned how she got the chance to return the favour. Speaking of it, Ephrata revealed she was told to kiss Styles on the cheek, which is visible in the music video, but that he asked for her consent, she thought she should ask for consent first, as well.


Moving on, Ephrata said, "They told me to kiss him, and "I felt like I had to ask, too. I was like, 'Are you sure?' and he was like, 'Yes, go ahead!'" Sharing her experience while filming the video, Ephrata revealed it was fun because everybody was so like comfortable and mentioned that nothing felt like forced. Meanwhile, Harry Styles’ music video Watermelon Sugar released recently. The song is a part of Styles’ new album Fine Lines.
