Hilary Duff has been a part of every 90’s kid’s childhood as her character Lizzie McGuire was such a super hit among the teenagers especially. Now the actor and her husband Matthew Koma are expecting their second child and made the announcement via a video on Instagram. Both of them shared the video on their respective profiles. “We are growing!!! Mostly me,” is what the caption read on Hilary’s post whereas something similar was posted by the musician as well.
Matthew shared the same video and wrote, “lol quarantine was fun. Baby #3 - 2021.” The video shows Matthew caressing Hilary’s baby bump as he hugs her from behind. The couple already has a two-year-old daughter, Banks Violet Bair, while Hilary has a son Luca Cruz from her previous marriage to ice hockey player Mike Comrie. As soon as the news broke, the congratulatory messages started pouring in from everywhere and especially the friends from the industry including Priyanka Chopra, Mandy Moore and Lindsay Price.
Priyanka Chopra wrote, “Wohoooooo congratulations,” while Mandy Moore commented, “Yay!! The best news!!! Love you two and can’t wait to be mamas together! Xo.”
Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma got married in December last year in Los Angeles with her close friends and family present. They had shared this news by posting a picture together next to a blue car with ‘Just Married’ written on it. On the professional front, Hilary will next be seen in the sequel of Lizzie McGuire, which will be available on Disney+.
