Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez share a history. A few years ago, the model unfollowed the singer on social media as she started dating her ex-boyfriend The Weeknd. It was in 2017 that romance bloomed between Selena and The Weeknd which led to Bella unfollowing both. As they broke up, Bella and The Weeknd tried to give their relationship another chance but sadly that didn't work either. Now, Selena seems to be trying to mend things with Bella, but the model doesn't seem to be in the mood.

However, Bella Hadid seems to have had a change of heart a day ago, when she followed Selena again on Instagram. As their fans are keeping a close eye on who follows who, the news of Bella extending an olive branch to Selena by following her on social media spreading like wildfire. But, but, Bella's presence in Selena's followers' list was short-lived. Within a day, the model hit the unfollow button and removed herself from the list. We wonder what made her unfollow Selena Gomez this time.

While Bella doesn't seem to be interested in following Selena, the singer sure is hoping to get back to being friends with her. In 2019, Selena had left a 'stunning' comment on Bella's portrait picture, which was later deleted by the model. Fans later called this move by Bella as a snub to Selena and the singer had commented on the fan post saying, 'that sucks'.




In an interview with Elle, Selena then called this to be a big misunderstanding. "NO. I shouldn’t of spoken without knowing the truth. I’m sorry. Please don’t be hurtful. She [Bella] is a wonderful person and it was all a misunderstanding," she said.
