Idris Elba Is ‘Dancing In Quarantine’ After Ellen DeGeneres Sends ‘So Much Love’ His Way
Just a few days ago, Idris Elba took to his Twitter and shared a video, announcing that he tested positive for COVID-19, and that while he feels okay, and didn’t have symptoms, he has been in isolation since he found out about his possible exposure to the virus. This news came just after Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson were diagnosed with the disease, proving that absolutely no one, not even celebs are immune to it. Idris Elba has, since then, been sharing updates about his health through social media, to his fans.

After he shared about the coronavirus diagnosis, his fans sent him well-wishes, pouring in many comments showing support to the actor. Not just that, his fellow celebrities such as Halle Berry, Ellen DeGeneres, and others also flocked social media and wished him well.  Ellen DeGeneres wrote, “Sending you so much love, Idris.” with a red heart emoji. Replying to her message of support, Idris, in turn, thanked her and wrote, “Thank you. We appreciate the love. Dancing in quarantine in honour of your message:).”

That’s not all, he also shared a GIF of him dancing, along with the comment. Check out their tweets here:

Meanwhile, Idris Elba went live for his fans on Tuesday night, and answered many questions. In the video, he said that he was exposed to the disease from March 4, the same day he met Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's wife Sophie at a We Day UK charity event, in Wembley. He said, “It's hard to say when I got the disease or when I contracted COVID-19, it's hard to say when. I will say that I know I've been exposed to it from March 4. That's when the person that came up positive, that was the time I got in contact with that person.”
