James McAvoy’s role in Split will shock you

We know him as Professor X from the X-Men series. But seems that James McAvoy has now decided to play different roles and extend his resume a bit. He plays a strange, demented person who suffers from split personality disorder in M Night Shyamalan’s Split.

The teaser trailer reveals a fantastic plot and James, as Kevin, is completely going against the grain as the kidnapper with a split personality. e has experienced 23 personalities and it is just getting worse. What will the kidnapper do with the hostages? Will the hostages find a way out of their problem? All these and more questions make us curious and curiouser and wait for the film with  bated breath.

The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Betty Buckley, Jessica Sula and Haley Lu Richardson and tells the story of three girls who are taken hostage by a schizophrenic character. The music by James Newton Howard is haunting and succeeds in creating the creeps.

Produced by Marc Bienstock, M. Night Shyamalan and Jasom Blum, Split releases in theatres on
January 20, 2017. M. Night Shyamalan has earlier given us some very twisted psychotic films like The Sixth Sense, The Village, Unbreakable and Signs.
