Her fans were thrilled for the singer, as she shared the exciting news about expecting her first child with Orlando Bloom. Later in April, Katy took to her social media to reveal the sex of her baby and shared that they are expecting a baby girl. Now, there had been rumours that Jennifer Aniston was asked to be the baby’s godmother, however, is it true?
It was last week that a report stated that Jennifer Aniston was asked by Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry to be their baby girl’s godmother. While people wondered if that was true, Katy has now cleared the air about the same. Looks like Jennifer read about this rumour too, as Katy Perry said in an episode of Kyle and Jackie O, that she texted Orlando and her about it. On hearing about the rumour, they were surprised and Katy said that she has no idea where it came from.
Katy Perry said, “She texted us, because we are friendly with her and Orlando is one of her good friends, and we were like, 'Wow! This is a wild rumor,’” She then continued, “I mean, God knows, she's, you know, with her, she's had everything said about her. But I guess this is a fun rumor. But no, we have no idea where it came from. But, you know, that is the product of the media and the internet. You should definitely believe everything that you read.”
Meanwhile, in the episode, Katy Perry also shared that going through this pregnancy, she got a whole new viewpoint. “But everything is swollen. My hands are swollen. My feet are starting to swell.
