Jennifer Lopez Rushed To Marry Ben Affleck; Singer Wanted To Sure He Did Not Get ‘Cold Feet’-REPORTS
Last Saturday, July 16, was definitely a big day for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. The twice-engaged couple got married in an intimate affair in Las Vegas as confirmed by the same via her ‘On the JLo’ fan newsletter that the two had in fact wed, and she shared photos, videos, and details from the big night.

Interestingly, Jennifer even changed her name and she even adopted her new husband’s surname as well.

As reported earlier, the latest court records show the couple used their legal names, Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez for the official document. However, in the ‘new name’ section, Jennifer Lopez was listed - she will now be legally known as Jennifer Lynn Affleck.

As per the reports, JLo and Ben’s nuptials weren’t planned and it was a last-minute decision. Affleck also revealed that the marriage plans with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Friday at the earliest.

The singer and actress were soaking up the sun in Lake Tahoe over the weekend when she was surprised by the news.

Speaking of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s low-key wedding, the two celebrated the occasion on a  plane back to Los Angeles while binging on pizza and sipping Diet Coke. The singer-actor took to the Instagram handle to share a special picture of herself from the bed glowing and smiling after tying the knot with actor Ben Affleck in a Vegas drive-in.

A Page Six report quoted a source who revealed that Ben Affleck spilt his wedding plans to his ex-flame almost at the last minute.

“Ben did tell Jen about the wedding, but I’m told that it was only Friday at the earliest”, said an insider further stating, “It was very, very minimally planned in advance and was largely spur of the moment. Violet stayed home because she’s extremely loyal to her mom.”

The insider also spilt the beans on why Jennifer Lopez now got married to Ben saying, ”[Lopez] has been ready to get married since the night that Ben proposed. She wanted to lock this down and remove any chance for cold feet ASAP!”

While Lopez and Affleck’s nuptials are reported to be a low-key affair but the duo plans to throw a big fat party at actor Ben Affleck’s $7 million mansion in Georgia.

A PEOPLE magazine report quoted a source saying that they "plan on having a bigger party so they can celebrate with family and friends.” However, TMZ insiders said that the couple is planning to have the party at Ben's home in the coastal town of Riceboro, Georgia, which is just outside of Savannah.

The duo tied the knot in a wedding chapel in Nevada with Jennifer’s child Emme, and Ben’s youngest daughter, Seraphina, in attendance. However, JLo, who was first engaged to Ben 20 years ago, apparently rushed to get married this time before the actor got cold feet.
