Jimmy Fallon is one of the most loved celebrities and the rumours of his death sparked concerns amongst his followers as ‘#RIPJimmyFallon’ trended on Twitter Tuesday evening. For obvious reasons, the host was irritated with the trend and therefore, he requested Twitter CEO Elon Musk to individually remove the hashtag.
After Jimmy Fallon rubbished his death rumours, many celebrities and his followers took to social media and lend him support.
After reading the tweet on Twitter F.I.R fame Kavita Kaushik retweeted Hollywood actor Jimmy Fallon’s tweet and from the looks of it, she seemed very upset with the trend. She also pointed out that she was very upset with the oversmart Twitter users.
Kavita tweeted “This is a horrible trend! Whoever started it is sick as f ! Live long and be awesome n entertaining @jimmyfallon”
In no time, fans of Jimmy Fallon flooded with comments on the Tweet and demanded Twitter to remove the upsetting news.
One fan wrote “It's trending because Twitter allows fake news now. There are no adults in the board room or moderators. Elon Musk fired them all. This is what Twitter looks like when anything goes and you can literally crash corporate stocks with a fake tweet.”
Another user wrote “I thought Twitter was supposed to be the most accurate news source under @elonmusk. WTH?”
Another comment read “Really. This crap about a fake celebrity death on Twitter is not a recent development, happens almost daily.”
Speaking of Kavita, the F,I.R actress has often raise her voice on the issues that concern her. She recently commented on the Delhi murder case on her Twitter handle, and demanded Aftab Poonawalla’s hanging for the heinous crime he commited against his girlfriend and live-in partner.
Kavita tweeted “This boy should be hanged !!! No other punishment for this ghastly crime !"
