Johnny Depp and Amber Heard settled their divorce just one day before their scheduled hearing in court. The couple even settled the domestic violence case that Heard had slapped at Johnny.
Buzz is, Depp has agreed to pay $7 million to Amber so she can walk away from the court case and him. The settlement was reached 3 days after Heard deposed in the domestic violence case that she’d filed.
SpotboyE.com told you when Depp and Heard first separated and filed for divorce in May (Amber Heard-Johnny Depp marriage over, May 26). At that time, the supermodel had filed a domestic violence case against The Pirates Of The Caribbean star too. The 53-year old actor had denied all the allegations of physical abuse. The case generated quite a controversy and Winona Ryder, Depp’s ex-wife, came out in his support and slammed the allegations.
This settlement brings to an end another short-lived Hollywood marriage. Depp and Heard were married for just a little more than a year. The two met while shooting for The Rum Diary and married in February 2015. Before this, Depp was in a 14-year-long relationship with French actress Vanessa Paradis. The actor has two children with Paradis - daughter Lily Rose Melody and son John "Jack" Christopher Depp.
