Kaitlynn Carter On Being In Love With Miley Cyrus, ‘Much More Than ‘Summer Fling’ Or A ‘Same-Sex Affair’’
In her blog, Kaitlynn Carter opens up on her vacation with Miley Cyrus. She mentioned that holiday which made her love Cyrus as hard as she had loved somebody earlier. She also cleared the that it was much more than a ‘summer fling’ or a ‘same-sex affair’
Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter grabbed headlines
for dating each other for a brief period of time. Miley, who called off her
less than a year-long (or short) marriage with Liam Hemsworth, soon started
seeing 31-year-old blogger Kaitlynn Carter post the separation. But after a
sweet 2 months of being into a relationship, the duo broke up and moved on in
their lives. Now for the first time in her lengthy blog, Carter divulged
details about her vacation with Miley, which made her love Cyrus as hard as she
had loved somebody earlier.
On Elle, Carter wrote, “This past July, I went on vacation with a female friend; the next thing I knew, I was in love with her. It wasn’t quite that simple, of course. But it also wasn’t very complicated, either. Until that trip, it had never crossed my mind that I was even capable of loving a woman the way I loved her. In her blog, she further wrote, “Although the relationship with my friend was often referenced in the media as merely a “summer fling” or a “same-sex affair,” it was so much more than that. This was a profound journey of self-discovery. For the first time, I listened to myself, forgot about the “norm”, and lived. I hope that everyone, when given the chance, takes the time to understand who exactly their most authentic selves are, untethered from what we may have been taught to believe. Remain curious. Know that there are many layers within you—and they just might be the most invaluable ones.”
Not
only this, but Carter also opened up about falling in loved with an older man
and also about ex-husband Brody Jenner.
