She recently also took to Instagram to share with her fans the gender of their baby. The star couple is expecting a baby girl. While they are over the moon, and can’t wait for their little one to arrive, plans for their marriage have been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Speaking of their wedding, last year, a report had claimed that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom had asked Kanye West to officiate their wedding.
NW had reported that Katy Perry wanted her pal Kanye West to officiate the wedding. The story came up after Katy had attended Kanye’s church service last year. A source told the insider that Katy and Orlando wanted their wedding to make a huge splash by having a celebrity officiant. And since Katy and Kanye West are friends, she wants him to preside over the wedding. In fact, the report also mentioned that Kanye was thrilled at being asked and was also thinking about officiating other weddings.
However, Gossip Cop has debunked these reports and called them fabricated, stating that the couple never intended to have Kanye officiate the wedding. Gossip Cop had checked with Katy’s rep last year, who said that they never asked Kanye to marry them. Moreover, Orlando Bloom had also revealed to People magazine that he didn’t want a grand wedding.
