Hollywood’s finest Kate Winslet was rushed to the hospital after she suffered an accident while filming the historical drama Lee in Croatia. A representative for the Oscar winner said that she is doing well and plans to resume filming this week.
As per a source quoted by DEADLINE, “Kate slipped and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure required by the production. While shooting her role in the historical drama film ‘Lee’, Winslet was caught in an accident which led to her being rushed to a nearby hospital to ensure that she was okay, her representatives confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Kate slipped and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure required by the production,” her team said. “She is fine and will be filming, as planned, this week.”
Winslet will resume filming this week as scheduled.
The upcoming feature film presents Winslet playing Lee Miller, the Vogue cover model-turned-photographer who was a leading figure in chronicling World War II for the iconic magazine.
Director Ellen Kuras the film also stars Marion Cotillard, Jude Law, Andrea Riseborough and Josh O’Connor.
