American sensation Katy Perry’s Indian trip got a little special as she met Prince Charles of Wales on his 71st birthday, here’s how she felt post the meet!
American singer Katy Perry has landed in the Maximum City after a whopping seven years. She is here to enthrall her Indian fans amid a concert, which is slated to happen on November 16. And, before that, the Roar singer is making the best out of her stay in Mumbai. Upon her arrival in India, Katy Perry interacted with the media during her first press conference that was also graced by Jacqueline Fernandez. Now, adding a dash of royalty to her visit, the singer recently met Prince Charles of Wales, who is on a three-day trip to India.
Interestingly, Prince Charles celebrates his 71st birthday today and the singer made it a point to wish her highness by penning an adorable message post their meet. She shared a picture of herself, posing alongside Prince Charles. In her caption, Katy wished him by writing, “Happiest 71st His Royal Highness Prince Charles @clarencehouse. It was a pleasure spending a little time with you and many brilliant Indian minds looking for incredible solutions to making India a more wonderful place through your organization @thebritishasiantrust I’m so glad some of the focus is on sustainability and solutions to protecting the environment.”

Katy Perry also visited the office of Radio One station and she sure had a warm welcome. In a couple of videos and pictures surfaced online, we could see the Never Really Over hit-maker entering the office amid an excited crowd of fans. She was welcomed with a lot of cheers and claps; we could also hear her song playing loud in the background. And just like the fans, Katy Perry, too, was excited to grace the event. During her press conference, Katy expressed her wish of wandering on the streets of Mumbai and trying out some authentic local cuisine. She was quoted as saying, “I just don't stay in my room and I am not that girl who orders room service. I like to go out, seek the world. I love people, culture, and tradition. So you are going to catch me in the streets.” Further, the 35-year-old singer stated how she wants Jacqueline Fernandez to take her out for some shopping.
